The free mini bar and coffee machine

Nice location. Quiet.

Cold room and hairs in the shower. Filter vent in shower was filthy.

Car park is large. Wellness centre is great.

No room service. Told that they don’t have reliable staff due to location so therefore don’t offer any form of room service. A shame. Hotel room has a very noisy electric heater which is located right next to the desk so you can’t really use the desk when heating on.

Meals were very good, breakfast was exceptional. I dined in the bar in the evening reasonable selection at reasonable prices. Swimming Pool was good.

Great hotel that it is, it is practically impossible to find in the dark, even with SatNav. Greater lighting on the turn off from the country road would help. Very poor selection of real ales - clientele must be predominantly lager drinkers.
